Custom Bible FAQ

We restock on the first Friday of every month at 10 AM CST.

From the date we receive your Bible, it can take up to 2-3 weeks until it's shipped back. Sometimes it's faster, but never longer than that.

We need to see every Bible prior to ordering a Custom Rebinding so we can make sure it's within our ability to rebind. Some Bibles are unfortunately too damaged or too fragile and rebinding would be too risky. Please email photos to us at hello@crewandco.com before ordering.

We've recently updated our policy to include glued bibles for rebinding as long as they're not already in pieces and falling apart. If it's still in good condition, we can rebind it. We cannot rebind paperback Bibles at this time.

No, you are responsible for the shipping of your Bible to us. We always recommend UPS or FedEx, but USPS Priority works as well. We do not recommend USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Media Mail. We cover the cost of shipping when we ship your Bible back to you!

After you purchase Custom Rebinding, you will receive a separate email from us with all of the instructions for where and how to ship. It came take up to 24-48 hours to send (but is typically just a few hours), so please be patient with us. We sit down and email every customer individually to verify customization choices so it takes a little longer than a generic automated email.

Be sure to check your spam/junk folder! Sometimes our emails end up there. If after that you still can't find it, kindly send us an email at hello@crewandco.com.

Don't worry, we have to remove the link from the website prior to the restock to make sure everything is ready and good to go at the time of restock. The link will work again on the restock day at 10 AM CST.

No, in order to keep things running smoothly for us and to be fair to all customers, you are required to ship your Bible within one week of placing the Custom Rebinding order and send the tracking information to Crew + Co via email. If you cannot ship within 7 days, it's better to order at a later time when you can.

At this time, we do not offer a waiting list or pre-order for Bibles. If you'd like to be notified of the restocks, please be sure you're signed up for our email newsletter and text reminder. We post on our website and also post on every social media channel when the restocks are happening.

No, I'm sorry. We are unable to add pages to Bibles.

Because there are so many translations and so many Bible types, we physically cannot stock everything. We offer the most used translations and try to offer the most used Bible types. If we do not stock the new Bible that you want, we recommend you order a new one from Amazon or somewhere similar and ship it directly to us for rebinding. Just send us an email prior to ordering Custom Rebinding to let us know which new Bible you're going to be shipping to us.

While we wish we could offer custom designs all year round, due to time constraints, we currently offer completely custom designs twice a year - April and September. If there's a specific custom design you'd like, please wait until one of those two months to order. However, we do offer the engraving of your loved one's handwriting all year, at every restock.

As of right now, we only offer engraving on the front of the Bible.

If you are working on making your Bible extremely large with lots of additions, we recommend getting it rebound sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, we have had to turn away Bibles that are too large due to all the stress on the spine and the potential for irreparable damage when rebinding. Please be careful when adding pages and additions to your Bible!

So glad you received your Bible! This may be a natural scar in the leather. Because we use the most natural kind of leather (full grain, 100% chemical free and natural veg-tanned), it means those scars, scratches, bumps, and scuffs from the cow will be more noticeable. Over time, the rest of the leather will start to patina as well and that mark probably won't be as noticeable. In the meantime, appreciate the uniqueness that full grain leather provides! No two pieces are the same, which is why we love it so much!

Shipping policy

We ship worldwide! Please note that international orders may take up to a month to arrive and may be subject to additional restrictions or duties, which vary by country and the contents of your order. If you are placing an order from outside the United States, it is your responsibility to understand your country’s restrictions, duties and any special requirements in order to receive imported goods. Crew + Co has no control over additional fees and is not responsible for confiscated items, delayed orders, or any additional duties or taxes that may be imposed by your country’s customs office or other government agencies. Packages returned to Crew + Co due to a failure or refusal to pay the duties or taxes are ineligible for a refund of shipping fees and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Returns, exchanges, + cancellations

If you would like to cancel your Bible order, please email us within 24 hours of placing your order. After 24 hours, your order cannot be canceled or refunded.

If we cannot get in touch with you regarding your Bible and we have not received it or any communication from you within 7-10 days, your order will be canceled and a restocking fee will be withheld. All we ask is for communication! That makes it a lot easier on both of us.

Due to the fact that all Bibles are custom made to order, all orders are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
